A tenth trench at the Rohav Mountain Prospect (26TRRM001, 89m cleared) uncovered a historical artisanal excavation across a zone of stockwork quartz veining. Geological mapping has been completed, but sampling is pending and no assay results are yet available from this location.
O’Phlay Project — Camp Prospect
Five trenches (26TRCM001 through 26TRCM005), totalling 583m, were completed at the Camp Prospect, designed to test conductivity anomalies identified in Gradient Array Induced Polarisation (GAIP) data. GAIP is a geophysical technique that measures how the ground responds to electrical currents, helping identify zones that may host sulphide minerals associated with gold.
The best intersection was 20m @ 0.2 g/t gold from 46m including 1m @ 2.6 g/t gold from 51m (Trench 26TRCM002), a width that the company notes will require drilling follow-up. Trench 26TRCM005 returned a rock chip assay of 1.9 g/t gold from an arsenopyrite-mineralised quartz vein in an area of historical artisanal workings.
An important piece of context: this trench program was designed before Unity received magnetic data revealing that the recently discovered stockwork gold system (previously announced intersections of 40m @ 1.9 g/t gold and 70.4m @ 1.1 g/t gold) trends NE-NNE and is closely associated with a demagnetised zone. As a result, no trenches were designed to test the demagnetised zone targets. Those targets remain untested by this program.

Why the Ngot NE breakthrough matters

The trenching confirmed that Unity’s initial drilling at Ngot NE was orientated sub-parallel to the gold mineralisation. In plain language: the drill holes were largely running alongside the gold-bearing veins rather than cutting through them at an angle. Think of it like trying to measure the thickness of a wall by walking along it rather than stepping through it. You will pass through very little of what you are trying to measure. Re-oriented drilling, angled to cut across the structures properly, is needed to genuinely test the target.
The structural picture that has emerged is significant. Unity’s interpretation is that there is an overall NNE-trending structural corridor that extends to the Okvau Gold Mine 2.2km to the north, with a 700m long coincident gold and arsenic soil anomaly lying along the structural corridor. Within this corridor, subordinate east-west structures host gold mineralisation in steeply dipping arsenopyrite-rich quartz veins. The correction of the drilling orientation represents a genuine step-change in how this target will be tested, though it should be noted that no resource or discovery has been defined — this is a refined exploration vector.
