Miramar Resources Appoints Drillers to Hunt Bedrock Gold Near Kalgoorlie by October
An offtake agreement is a contract where a buyer commits to purchase a project's future production. It gives a developer a defined customer before a mine is built, which lenders and strategic funders generally look for.
On 12 October 2026 Centaurus confirmed that its binding offtake agreement with Glencore for the Jaguar Nickel Project remains binding and effective on the previously announced terms. The agreement was first announced on 16 March 2026.
Senior debt is the primary loan that ranks first for repayment, and it is typically a major part of funding a mine build. Centaurus says its senior debt process for Jaguar is well advanced.
Centaurus still needs to complete additional offtake and strategic funding, which is at an advanced stage of negotiations and final documentation, and finish the senior debt financing. It expects to provide further updates in the near term, though no dates were given.
