Standout drill results from Bolt Cutter Central
Exploration and infill drilling at Bolt Cutter Central has returned multiple strongly mineralised intersections, demonstrating both the strength and vertical continuity of the system. Near-surface drilling delivered a standout intercept of 18m @ 1.1% Li₂O from 16m in BCRC113 (estimated true width), reinforcing the presence of thick mineralised pegmatite close to surface. Down-dip drilling further demonstrated the stacked nature of the system, with BCRC112 intersecting multiple zones: 11m @ 1.5% Li₂O from 67m and 6m @ 1.5% Li₂O from 174m (estimated true widths).
All Bolt Cutter Central intercepts below are reported as estimated true widths.
| Hole ID | Intercept | Grade (Li₂O) | From (m) | Prospect |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BCRC115 | 8m | 1.5% | 89m | Bolt Cutter Central |
| BCRC115 | 16m | 1.5% | 116m | Bolt Cutter Central |
| BCRC113 | 18m | 1.1% | 16m | Bolt Cutter Central |
| BCRC112 | 11m | 1.5% | 67m | Bolt Cutter Central |
| BCRC112 | 6m | 1.5% | 174m | Bolt Cutter Central |
| BCRC123 | 4m | 1.6% | 104m | Bolt Cutter Central |
| BCRC116 | 6m | 1.0% | 85m | Bolt Cutter Central |
New pegmatites expand the target footprint
Drilling east of the Hermione pegmatite has identified additional high-grade lithium mineralisation, returning 2m @ 2.0% Li₂O from 20m in BCRC108 (estimated true width). The hole targeted a surface geochemical anomaly and represents a new mineralised pegmatite occurrence that remains open in all directions. On adjacent tenement E45/5416, BCRC102 returned 3m @ 1.0% Li₂O from 45m (estimated true width), extending mineralisation approximately 300m along strike from previously reported BCRC087. Mineralisation remains open along strike and down dip, with additional mineralised areas identified up to 1.2km from the main Harry-Hermione swarm. Resource modelling is advancing toward the maiden MRE (Q4 2026).
Tabba Tabba drilling supports DFS and resource confidence
Metallurgical and infill drilling at Tabba Tabba has returned strongly mineralised intercepts from the Hutt, Chewy and Leia pegmatites. The programme was designed to support DFS technical studies (including the collection of metallurgical material from Hutt and Chewy) and to infill previously wide-spaced areas for greater confidence in the geological interpretation.
| Pegmatite | Hole ID | Intercept | Grade (Li₂O) | From (m) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hutt | TAMT038 | 25.1m | 1.2% | 56.5m |
| Hutt | TAMT040 | 21.4m | 0.9% | 22.6m |
| Hutt (incl.) | TAMT040 | 8.6m | 1.4% | 28.6m |
| Chewy | TAMT036 | 13.9m | 2.0% | 45.2m |
| Chewy (incl.) | TAMT036 | 7.8m | 2.3% | 45.2m |
| Leia | TARC435 | 18m | 1.3% | 69m |
| Leia (incl.) | TARC435 | 9m | 2.0% | 74m |
These results support ongoing refinement of the existing MRE and DFS technical studies.
LCT rights acquisition triples the Tabba Tabba search area
Wildcat has acquired the LCT Rights for E45/2364, which abuts the southern boundary of the Tabba Tabba Mining Leases. The transaction secures approximately 7km additional strike over the Tabba Tabba Shear, tripling the explorable strike length. The Millindinna mafic intrusion (the same prospective host unit associated with pegmatite mineralisation at Tabba Tabba) is interpreted to extend throughout E45/2364. Large portions of these prospective greenstone sequences remain scarcely tested by deep drilling specifically targeting LCT pegmatites. Where historical exploration drilling has been undertaken, it predominantly comprises reconnaissance-scale aircore and rotary air blast drilling. The new ground sits immediately adjacent to Wildcat’s 74.1Mt resource base. Target generation and drill planning are well advanced for near-term RC drilling.
Why the acquisition matters for investors:
- Triples explorable strike over a proven mineralised shear
- Prospective host geology extends into the new ground
- Largely untested by deep LCT-focused drilling
- Sits adjacent to an existing 74.1Mt resource base
Understanding LCT pegmatites and why grade and continuity matter
LCT (lithium-caesium-tantalum) pegmatites are a specific type of igneous rock that forms when molten granite cools and crystallises, concentrating lithium-bearing minerals like spodumene. The Pilbara hosts several Tier-1 hard-rock lithium mines (Pilgangoora, Wodgina, Greenbushes) extracting lithium from LCT pegmatites. Li₂O grade refers to the percentage of lithium oxide in a rock sample. Intersections of approximately 1.5-2.0% Li₂O are considered strong in this context. When a deposit is described as “open in most directions”, it signals potential for resource growth beyond the current drill coverage. True width refers to the actual thickness of the mineralised zone, corrected for the angle at which the drill intersects it. A maiden Mineral Resource Estimate is the first formal quantification of tonnage and grade, a critical step in the mine development pathway. A Definitive Feasibility Study provides the detailed engineering, cost, and economic analysis required to make a final investment decision. These results feed directly into both the Bolt Cutter MRE and the Tabba Tabba DFS.
