Tambourah Metals (ASX: TMB) has announced assay results from a recent RC drilling program at the Tambourah Gold Project, located 90km southwest of Marble Bar, Western Australia. The program comprised 17 holes for 2,292m, targeting two prospects across the broader Tambourah Goldfield.
The program was split across two areas: an 11-hole infill program at Tambourah King testing the mineralised lode system over 200m of strike, and a 6-hole exploration program at Western Chief also drilled over 200m of strike. Seven of the 11 infill holes at Tambourah King intersected the targeted lode position, with results now slated for inclusion in a planned maiden resource estimate.

What RC drilling results mean for resource estimation
RC (Reverse Circulation) drilling is a method that generates continuous rock chip samples as a drill bit progresses underground, giving geologists a reliable picture of where gold mineralisation sits, how thick it is, and how it continues along strike and at depth.

The infill results from Tambourah King will be incorporated into the company’s planned maiden resource estimate. Three of the 11 holes were drilled oblique to strike to test conceptual structural targets, with the best result from this sub-program being 4m at 3.59g/t Au from 109m in TBRC26030.
The current results build on earlier work confirming gold mineralisation at Tambourah, where high-grade quartz-hosted intercepts first established the lode system now being systematically infilled ahead of resource estimation.
Beyond Tambourah King, the broader project carries meaningful scale optionality. The Tambourah Goldfield contains 16 additional gold prospects, with mineralisation defined over 2km, positioning the project well ahead of any single-prospect valuation.

Separately from the Tambourah Gold Project, the company has also completed approximately 5,000m of combined AC and RC drilling at the Bryah Gold Project, located in the Murchison region. Multiple assay batches are currently pending from four programs:

- RC drilling at Beatty Park South
- Aircore drilling at West Harmony
- RC drilling at Baxter South
A five-hole diamond drilling program has commenced at Beatty Park South, targeting the high-grade gold system beneath shallow, very high-grade aircore intercepts. The program is supported by an EIS co-funded drilling grant of up to $180,000, providing non-dilutive external funding for the diamond drilling phase.
