Tambourah Metals Wraps 4,000m Bryah Gold Drill Program With Diamond Phase Next
Key Takeaways
- Tambourah Metals has completed approximately 4,000m of aircore drilling at the T2 gold-in-soil anomaly and West Harmony targets within the Bryah Gold Project, with samples in transit and assay results expected within four to five weeks.
- A diamond drilling contract has been signed at Beatty Park Sth, with crews mobilising now and drilling set to commence the week of 6 September 2026, targeting depths of 300m below previously reported high-grade aircore intersections.
- Aircore drilling at T2 intersected the classic orogenic gold alteration package — chlorite, silica, ankerite, and sericite-altered ultramafics hosting quartz veins — confirming the geological plumbing system for gold transport was active in this sequence.
- A further 392m of RC drilling at Baxters Sth has been completed with samples submitted for assay, adding a fourth pending catalyst to an already concentrated near-term news flow window.
- The Bryah Basin hosts neighbouring gold deposits including Andy Well (505koz Au) and Turnberry (730koz Au), providing a credible district-scale exploration address for TMB's multi-target program.
Drilling complete across multiple Bryah Gold targets as diamond program prepares to launch
Tambourah Metals (ASX: TMB) has completed approximately 4,000m of aircore drilling at the T2 gold-in-soil anomaly and the west Harmony gold targets within the Bryah Gold Project, located 160km north of Meekatharra, Western Australia. Drill samples are now in transit to Perth, with assay results expected within four to five weeks.
The aircore program wraps up just as the next phase begins. A diamond drilling contract has been signed at the Beatty Park Sth gold discovery, crews are mobilising to site this week, and drilling is expected to commence in the week beginning 6 September 2026.

Three targets, one busy month — what’s happening at Bryah
Beatty Park Sth — diamond drilling about to begin
Five RC precollars were completed in August to prepare the site for the upcoming diamond program. Holes are planned to 300m depth, targeting the zone below high-grade gold intersections reported in prior aircore drilling (see ASX announcements dated 4 August 2025, 1 October 2025, and 22 January 2026).
The SAM (sub-audio magnetic) geophysical survey identified significant variations in conductivity in this zone, and the diamond program is designed to test what lies beneath those geophysical signatures.
T2 gold-in-soil anomaly — aircore complete, assays pending
The T2 target sits 1,100m south of the Beatty Park gold discovery, a meaningful spatial relationship that positions it within the same prospective corridor. T2 is an untested gold anomaly within the structurally modified and altered Narracoota Formation ultramafic-mafic sequence.
Aircore drilling intersected a sequence of variably chlorite, silica, ankerite, and sericite altered ultramafics hosting numerous quartz veins. That combination of alteration minerals is the geological fingerprint investors want to see, and it’s explained further below.
West Harmony — reconnaissance drilling across a 2,000m × 1,200m area
Located 4km west of the Harmony gold mine, the West Harmony program involved wide-spaced reconnaissance aircore drilling over an area of 2,000m by 1,200m in a zone of mapped transported cover. The program targeted a historic gold anomaly within the Ravelstone Formation, coincident with northwest-trending lineaments interpreted from aeromagnetic data as potential fluid pathways.
Results from this aircore program are being assessed. Separately, 392m of RC drilling was completed at the adjacent Baxters Sth gold target, with samples submitted for assay. Both represent additional pending catalysts.
What is orogenic gold — and why does it matter at Bryah?
Orogenic gold systems form when hydrothermal fluids, heated by tectonic activity deep in the Earth’s crust, migrate upward through fault and shear zones, depositing gold as they cool and react with surrounding rock. They are among the world’s most significant gold deposit styles and are characterised by specific alteration minerals: chlorite, quartz veins, ankerite, and sericite, exactly what TMB’s drilling intersected at T2.
That alteration package matters because it tells geologists the plumbing system for gold transport was active in this sequence. It does not guarantee a discovery, but it confirms the geological conditions were right.
The Bryah Basin already hosts established nearby gold endowment. Figure 4 in the announcement shows neighbouring deposits including Andy Well (505koz Au) and Turnberry (730koz Au), which gives the broader district a credible exploration address with demonstrated gold-forming potential.

Multiple assay results expected within weeks — what investors should watch
The coming weeks represent a period of concentrated news flow for TMB. The near-term catalyst sequence is:
- Assay results from the approximately 4,000m aircore program at T2 and west Harmony, expected within four to five weeks.
- Diamond drilling commencing at Beatty Park Sth from the week of 6 September 2026, with results to follow as the program advances.
- Assay results from the 392m RC drilling program at Baxters Sth, also pending.
- Investor webinar scheduled for 10am WST on 14 September 2026, where management will discuss exploration progress.
Beyond Bryah, TMB is also advancing a maiden resource estimate at the Tambourah Gold Project, beginning at Tambourah King, and is actively exploring for critical minerals including lithium, antimony, silver, tin, and tantalum across multiple projects. That multi-asset profile means the company is not a single-project bet — there are multiple threads of potential news running concurrently.
Rita Brooks, Executive Chairperson
“the team have been busy drilling RC and aircore programs at Beatty Park, Baxter Sth and West Harmony in the past month. The diamond drilling will be commencing shortly at Beatty Park and we are looking forward to discussing our exploration progress in a webinar to be held at 10am (WST) on September 14th 2026.”
