Right Resources Limited has returned a new peak selective rock-chip result of 5.16 g/t Au from the eastern side of the Blue Prospect, upgrading target definition ahead of the fully funded maiden aircore drilling program scheduled to commence in September 2026. The result builds rapidly on the prior peak of 1.19 g/t Au reported on 24 August 2026, signalling a meaningful escalation in the gold story at Blue over a very short period.
Multiple widely spaced rock-chip samples have returned greater than 0.3 g/t Au within a 300 m by 300 m priority area on the eastern side of the prospect. Systematic soil and rock-chip sampling has now defined a 4.0 km north-south by 0.8 km east-west gold-anomalous corridor on the eastern side of the prospect. The Blue Prospect sits approximately 22 km north of Tumbarumba, NSW, within the company’s broader NSW tenement portfolio.

What’s driving the gold signal at Blue — and why bismuth matters
An intrusion-related gold system is one where gold mineralisation forms from hot fluids expelled by a cooling igneous intrusion deep in the earth’s crust. Because the gold itself is often difficult to detect at surface, explorationists use pathfinder elements — trace metals that travel with the gold-bearing fluids and leave a chemical signature in the surrounding rock and soil. Bismuth is one of the most reliable pathfinders in this style of system.
Using a geochemical evaluation methodology based on Halley (2018), Right Resources has identified that all rock-chip samples returning more than 100 ppb Au (0.1 g/t Au) are coincident with bismuth values greater than 100 times interpreted background. Critically, the two peak gold values of 1.19 g/t Au and 5.16 g/t Au both occur within zones of bismuth anomalism exceeding 1,000 times interpreted background.
That spatial lock between gold and bismuth strengthens the geological model considerably. It gives the exploration team a reliable chemical vector to guide drill hole placement rather than targeting blind. This interpretation, however, remains to be tested by drilling — surface geochemistry is a guide, not a confirmation.
Priority eastern target defined — what the geology is showing
The priority eastern target measures approximately 300 m north-south by 300 m east-west and contains the peak 5.16 g/t Au result (sample RTRK_00322), coincident with 630 ppm bismuth and extensive quartz veining. Key geological features identified within this target area include:
- Peak selective rock-chip result of 5.16 g/t Au
- Peak bismuth of 630 ppm Bi
- Multiple semi-continuous quartz veins up to 10 cm thick, trending north-south
- Hydrothermal breccias, stockwork quartz veining and quartz-sulphide mineralisation hosted within felsic intrusive units
- Multiple breccia and pegmatite bodies mapped over an approximately 3 km north-south corridor
These new results refine — but do not expand — the previously reported 4.7 km by 3.4 km multi-element footprint at Blue.

The fully funded maiden aircore drilling program remains on schedule to commence in September 2026, comprising approximately 60 holes for 3,000 m total. An initial 2,000 m is planned to target tungsten and gold anomalies on EL9028, with the final drill design being refined to incorporate the new eastern gold and bismuth targets where access permits.
