Regener8 Passes 1,000 Soil Samples at Srebrenica as Key Assay Results Near
Key Takeaways
- Regener8 has completed Phase 4 fieldwork at Srebrenica North, collecting 593 samples and taking the soil program past 1,000 samples across the Dolovi and Vagan licences.
- No Phase 4 assays have been reported, so this is a progress update rather than a discovery announcement.
- Phase 1 defined three Ag-Zn-Pb-Sb soil anomalies, led by Chaush at 1,050m x 350m and open to the north-west.
- Phase 2 and 3 assay results from ALS are expected in October 2026, the nearest catalyst on the calendar.
- The project remains undrilled with no Mineral Resource, and first-pass drill targets will be ranked only after soil, magnetic, mapping, rock chip and trenching work.
Phase 4 soil sampling completed at Srebrenica North, taking program past 1,000 samples
Regener8 Resources NL (ASX:R8R) has completed fieldwork for Phase 4 soil sampling at its 100% owned Srebrenica North Project in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Project is held through the company’s wholly owned Bosnian subsidiary, Orichalcum d.o.o.
Phase 4 comprised 593 samples (563 soil samples plus 30 QAQC samples), collected at approximately 200m spacing along ridgelines and spurs across the wider Vagan tenement. QAQC samples are quality control checks that help confirm the lab results can be trusted.
Managing Director and CEO Dave Malesic said the program now totals more than 1,000 samples across the Dolovi and Vagan licences. No assay results have been reported from Phase 4, so this is a progress update rather than a discovery announcement.
Dave Malesic, Managing Director & CEO
“Completing Phase 4 is another important step at Srebrenica North, taking our soil sampling to more than 1,000 samples across the Dolovi and Vagan licences, collected using consistent procedures and quality control throughout…”
What does that mean for you? The company now has systematic soil coverage of the Vagan licence, which it says will help it prioritise targets alongside ground magnetic data.
Key points from the announcement:
- Phase 4 fieldwork is complete.
- Phase 2 and 3 samples have been submitted to ALS laboratory for analysis.
- A ground magnetic survey is complete over the Zanik and Gradina areas.

Program status across Phases 1 to 4
Where each phase stands
The table below reproduces the company’s own program status summary. Only Phase 1 has reported results to date.
| Program | Tenement / area | Samples | Fieldwork | Results |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Phase 1 soils | Dolovi – Chaush and Zanik | **198 + 10 QAQC** | Complete | Reported **7 Sep 2026** |
| Phase 2 soils | Dolovi – wider tenement area | **127 + 6 QAQC** | Complete; additional samples Oct 2026 | Pending – at laboratory |
| Phase 3 soils | Vagan – Gradina | **166 + 8 QAQC** | Complete | Pending – at laboratory |
| Phase 4 soils | Vagan – wider tenement area | **563 + 30 QAQC** | Complete | In preparation for dispatch |
| Ground magnetics | Zanik and Gradina | – | Complete | Interpretation in progress |
The company is taking additional Phase 2 samples during October 2026, estimating approximately 300 soil samples (plus additional QAQC samples). Phase 4 samples are being prepared for dispatch to the ALS laboratory in Bor, Serbia.
Results for the Phase 2 and 3 samples submitted to date are expected during October 2026. They will be reported once received, validated and reviewed by the Competent Person.
Phase 1 foundation
Phase 1 sampling targeted the Zanik and Chaush prospects on the Dolovi tenement. According to the company’s 7 September 2026 announcement, it defined three coherent Ag-Zn-Pb-Sb (silver-zinc-lead-antimony) soil anomalies:
- Chaush: 1,050m x 350m, open to the north-west
- Zanik South: 700m x 450m, open to the south and coincident with historical workings
- Zanik North: 700m x 200m, a newly defined target
Soil anomalies are surface geochemical targets. Their dimensions are not indicative of the size, continuity or grade of any underlying mineralisation.
What does soil geochemistry mean for explorers?
Soil sampling measures metal levels in the surface soil. It is generally a lower-cost way for explorers to narrow down where to look before committing to more expensive work such as mapping, rock chip sampling, trenching and drilling.
Here, the company plans to combine the soil and magnetic datasets to rank targets for follow-up work and first-pass drill testing. For you as an investor, that ranking is the step that links this fieldwork to any future drilling decisions.
The Project comprises two exploration licences, Vagan (49.25km²) and Dolovi (25.00km²), within the Srebrenica Volcanic Complex, part of the Tethyan Metallogenic Belt in eastern Bosnia and Herzegovina. The district hosts operating base and precious metal mines, including the Sase mine approximately 1km south-east of the Chaush anomaly.
The Srebrenica North acquisition gave Regener8 its foothold in Bosnia’s polymetallic belt, and the Vagan and Dolovi licences now form the base for the systematic soil and magnetic work under way.
Proximity to operating mines is not an indication that economic mineralisation exists at the Project. The Project has not been drilled by the company and no Mineral Resource or Ore Reserve has been estimated.

Next steps toward first-pass drill testing
The company has outlined the following planned next steps:
- Receipt, QAQC review and reporting of Phase 2 and 3 assay results
- Collection of the additional Phase 2 samples, and laboratory analysis of these and the Phase 4 samples
- Interpretation of ground magnetic data and integration with the soil geochemistry
- Follow-up geological mapping, rock chip sampling and trenching over priority anomalies
- Ranking of targets for first-pass drill testing, subject to results and the required approvals
The nearest checkpoint is the Phase 2 and 3 assay results, which are expected during October 2026. The company’s forward-looking statements note that outcomes may differ materially, with risks including laboratory turnaround times, exploration results, weather, regulatory approvals and funding.
Regener8 also holds the North Achilles Project in the southern Cobar Basin, New South Wales, which is prospective for gold, silver and copper.
