Green360 Signs Binding MKX Supply Deal With Eifers Civil, Up to 4,800 Tonnes

The Green360 Technologies MKX Supply Agreement with Eifers Civil locks in up to 4,800 tonnes at A$250 a tonne, a second binding customer that takes contracted demand to 32% of G360's 30,000-tonne target.
By William Hadrian -
  • Green360 has signed a binding deal to supply Eifers Civil with up to 4,800 tonnes of MKX over 12 months at a fixed A$250 per tonne, worth about A$1.2 million at the maximum.
  • Eifers is G360's second commercial customer after Holcim, and together they cover up to 9,600 tonnes, or 32% of the 30,000-tonne-per-annum market creation target.
  • More than 3,500 cubic metres of MKX concrete has already been poured on Melbourne infrastructure, including airport taxiways and Level Crossing Removal Projects.
  • MKX can replace up to 40% of Portland cement, with G360 positioning it as traditional SCM supply such as fly ash and slag tightens.
  • A scoping study on purpose-built MKX production facilities is expected this quarter, the next catalyst for scaling beyond Calix's Bacchus Marsh calcining capacity.

Binding MKX supply agreement with Eifers Civil locks in up to 4,800 tonnes

Green360 Technologies (ASX:GT3), also known as G360, has entered a binding supply agreement with Eifers Civil Pty Ltd for MKX, its proprietary metakaolin supplementary cementitious material. For investors, the question is whether a second commercial customer signals repeat demand.

The key terms are:

  • Supply of up to 4,800 tonnes over an initial 12-month period
  • A fixed price of A$250 per tonne delivered
  • Approximately A$1.2 million of revenue if Eifers purchases the maximum quantity

That revenue figure assumes the full 4,800 tonnes is supplied. Actual sales will depend on volumes ordered and delivered under the agreement.

Executive Chairman Aaron Banks described Eifers as the company’s second commercial supply customer. That points to the start of repeat demand rather than a one-off sale, though volumes remain tied to what Eifers actually orders.

Combined with Holcim, 32% of the market creation target is covered

Together, the Holcim and Eifers supply agreements cover up to 9,600 tonnes across their respective initial 12-month terms. That equals 32% of G360’s 30,000-tonne-per-annum Calix market creation target. The Holcim agreement was announced on 23 July 2026.

Customer Maximum tonnes Term Price Share of target
Eifers Civil Pty Ltd 4,800 Initial 12 months A$250 per tonne delivered Part of combined 32%
Holcim Remainder of combined 9,600 Initial 12 months Not disclosed here Part of combined 32%
Combined Up to 9,600 Respective initial 12-month terms n/a 32% of 30,000 tonnes per annum

Aaron Banks, Executive Chairman

“Securing Eifers as our second commercial supply customer builds on the practical experience gained using MKX in infrastructure projects…”

Proven in infrastructure: 3,500 cubic metres poured

Eifers has already used MKX in concrete for major infrastructure projects. These include recently completed airport taxiway pavement pours, Level Crossing Removal Projects and Melbourne Airport Business Park.

Over 3,500 cubic metres of concrete containing MKX has now been poured in Melbourne infrastructure projects, per the company’s 14 September 2026 announcement. Eifers is also progressing trials of MKX in its Ecofil lightweight cellular concrete range, which the company says opens up further opportunities. Those remain trials only.

Eifers Agreement Snapshot & MKX Validation

Dan Eifermann, Concrete Managing Director, Eifers

“We see calcined clay playing an increasingly important role in the future of Australian concrete…”

What this tells you is that MKX is being tested in real projects by a customer that has now committed to a binding agreement. Use by repeat customers helps validate specifications and demand, although it does not guarantee future volumes.

What is MKX and why are traditional SCMs under pressure?

A supplementary cementitious material (SCM) is a material used alongside or in place of part of the Portland cement in concrete. Metakaolin is calcined kaolin, meaning kaolin clay that has been heated.

  • What MKX is: G360’s commercially produced metakaolin SCM
  • What it replaces: MKX can replace up to 40% of Portland cement in concrete
  • Why it matters: it is described as a low carbon partial cement replacement that reduces embodied carbon in concrete

The company says the Australian concrete industry is preparing for increasing structural constraints in traditional SCM supply, including fly ash and blast furnace slag. G360 states it was the first company to commercialise metakaolin as an SCM in the Australian concrete market.

Market-first strategy and next steps

G360’s approach is to develop the market first, establish repeatable demand and industry confidence, and then scale production capacity in response. The company says this is intended to progressively de-risk future investment in dedicated production capacity.

Kaolin from the Pittong operations is currently calcined at Calix Limited’s Bacchus Marsh facility. That provides access to up to 30,000 tonnes per annum of calcining capacity close to the Melbourne concrete market.

Supply arrangement terms

Under the agreement, subsidiary Suvo Minerals Australia Pty Ltd will supply up to 4,800 tonnes per annum, delivered to Eifers’ facility near Melbourne Airport. The agreement is binding on commercial supply terms with industry standard termination rights and contains technical compliance standards.

What comes next

Management has outlined these priorities:

  • Securing additional customers
  • Growing sales
  • Releasing a scoping study, which the company expects this quarter, on purpose-built MKX production facilities

The investment angle rests on two developments converging: MKX’s establishment through real-world commercial use, and the expected structural tightening in traditional SCM availability. The company believes this provides an opportunity to develop MKX from an emerging alternative SCM into a material component of Australia’s future concrete supply chain.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is MKX and how does it work in concrete?

MKX is Green360 Technologies' commercially produced metakaolin supplementary cementitious material, made from heated kaolin clay. It can replace up to 40% of Portland cement in concrete and reduces embodied carbon.

What are the terms of the Green360 Eifers Civil supply agreement?

Eifers Civil can take up to 4,800 tonnes of MKX over an initial 12 months at a fixed A$250 per tonne delivered. That is about A$1.2 million of revenue if the maximum quantity is purchased.

What is a supplementary cementitious material (SCM)?

An SCM is a material used alongside or in place of part of the Portland cement in concrete. Fly ash and blast furnace slag are traditional examples, and the company says their supply is facing structural constraints.

How much of Green360's market creation target is covered by its supply agreements?

The Holcim and Eifers agreements together cover up to 9,600 tonnes, or 32% of G360's 30,000-tonne-per-annum target. Both run for initial 12-month terms.

What is next for Green360 Technologies after the Eifers deal?

Management is focused on securing additional customers, growing sales and releasing a scoping study on purpose-built MKX production facilities, which it expects this quarter.
