DevEx Resources has completed the first full month of its 2026 dry season campaign at its 100%-owned Nabarlek Uranium Project in the Northern Territory, intersecting strongly altered basement rocks at KP Prospect that resemble those hosting the Nabarlek deposit. This is the first phase of a sequenced, multi-year exploration pipeline designed to vector in on unconformity-style uranium targets systematically. DevEx is one of only a small number of companies able to test the McArthur Basin at scale. The company remains well funded to undertake these exploration activities, with results from remaining drill holes, laboratory assays, and a new hyperspectral survey to be released progressively.

KP Prospect delivers the standout alteration signature
Drilling at KP passed through approximately 100 metres of McArthur Basin sandstone cover into strongly altered hematite-chlorite basement schists resembling rocks proximal to the Nabarlek deposit. Diamond hole NBDD26003 (DD3) intersected a ~10-metre-wide altered fault breccia above the unconformity, infilled by semi-massive chlorite with minor hematite.
The significance: at Jabiluka, chlorite composition in overlying sandstone is identical to chlorite associated with mineralisation below the unconformity. Follow-up diamond holes are underway to test the structure where it crosses beneath the unconformity into a Nabarlek-type position.

Big Radon confirms mineralised fault zone
First-pass drilling (seven holes) confirmed a ~20-metre-wide fault zone; shallow uranium mineralisation was intersected adjacent in chlorite-altered schist. The intercept from hole RC2 (1.6m @ 680ppm eU₃O₈ from 26 metres, including 0.4m @ 1,041ppm eU₃O₈) was validated in the field via handheld scintillometer and pXRF, confirming uranium presence. Laboratory assays are pending. Structural logging of diamond hole DD2 is underway to determine follow-up drilling strategy. The fault has been tested on two broad spaced traverses 300 metres apart.
Sandfire tests Angularli Fault Zone extension
RC drilling has commenced on the projected extension of the Angularli Fault Zone, along strike from Deep Yellow’s Angularli deposit (32.9Mlbs @ 1.09% U₃O₈ — a Deep Yellow resource, not DevEx’s). Testing is expected over two to three weeks before the rig relocates to Nabarlek North.
New drill targets emerging at Caramal
Relogging of historical core identified a possible down-faulted northern continuation of the Caramal deposit, sitting deeper than most historical drilling reached. DevEx lodged a drilling application in June 2026 covering this target and four others. The company is awaiting NT regulator approval.
Understanding unconformity-style uranium
Unconformity-style uranium deposits are high-grade uranium concentrations at or near the boundary (unconformity) between older basement rocks and younger overlying sandstone, controlled by faults. Geologists vector in by looking for the right fault position, right host rocks, alteration clays (chlorite and hematite), and evidence that uranium is migrating through the system. As Finlayson noted, “The McArthur Basin is Australia’s Athabasca,” — host to Nabarlek, Ranger, and Jabiluka, yet historically under-explored versus Canada’s Athabasca Basin.
These deposits can be small in footprint but exceptionally high grade. That is why methodical targeting is worth the patience.
