Adavale uncovers six new high-grade gold prospects on London-Victoria’s doorstep

Adavale Resources has reported ongoing systematic review of historic drillhole data has identified gold mineralisation at 6 additional prospects along strike and immediately adjacent to the London-Victoria Gold Mine, reinforcing the mine’s position at the heart of the company’s consolidated Parkes Thrust gold system. The prospects are Armstrongs, Drapers, Nibblers Hill, Somers, McGuiggans and Waterhouse, all located within reach of existing infrastructure and presenting a clear near-mine development pipeline.

The 166koz Au Mineral Resource currently sits across the broader Parkes Thrust Project and is based on historic data only — it does not yet include the 88 Adavale holes drilled to date. An updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) is scheduled for the September quarter (mid-3Q CY26). 2 rigs remain active onsite, with assays reported as validated. Adavale is an Australian junior gold explorer/developer operating in the Lachlan Fold Belt of New South Wales.

These six prospects give the company a drill-ready pipeline of satellite targets that could become future deposits feeding the London-Victoria hub as the project scales toward development.

The standout intercepts driving the pipeline

Multiple shallow high-grade results have been confirmed across the six prospects, with Drapers, Nibblers Hill and Waterhouse each returning headline intercepts exceeding 4g/t Au. At Armstrongs, broader lower-grade intervals show a similar profile to the current London-Victoria drillout, indicating potential for bulk tonnage mineralisation.

Prospect Hole ID Intercept From (m) Notes
Drapers DR02 11m @ 4.94g/t Au 9 Open at depth (hole only 20m deep)
Nibblers Hill NB-05 9m @ 4.90g/t Au 28 Shallow high-grade
Waterhouse WH002 4m @ 4.55g/t Au 4
Somers PN31 8m @ 3.20g/t Au 36
Somers PN30 4m @ 4.02g/t Au 36
Somers PN22 7m @ 2.14g/t Au 33
Armstrongs AR45 32m @ 0.93g/t Au 24 Broad lower-grade
Armstrongs AR51 18m @ 1.29g/t Au 98
Armstrongs LV11 22m @ 1.05g/t Au 8
Armstrongs LV10 30m @ 0.77g/t Au 41
Armstrongs AR43 26m @ 0.87g/t Au 28

Armstrongs shows both broad lower-grade intervals and narrower higher-grade zones. Results and orientation are remarkably similar to the current London-Victoria drillout, suggesting comparable mineralisation controls.

David Ward, Managing Director

“These 6 prospects sit right on London-Victoria’s doorstep and complement the high-grade Victoria South Prospect where historic drilling returned 6m @ 41.3g/t Au. The prospects are along strike and parallel from the existing resource and within reach of existing infrastructure. They give us a clear pipeline of high-quality targets to drill-test as we build out the broader scale and development potential of the Parkes Project. With 2 rigs currently onsite at London-Victoria and an updated Mineral Resource Estimate planned for September, we have real momentum heading into the second half of the year.”

How historic data compilation is unlocking hidden value

Why the data was “lost” in the first place

Historic drilling was mostly completed by third parties, with the majority completed under a Joint Venture between Michelago Resources NL and Sipa Exploration NL during the 1990s. At the time, the exploration tenure surrounding the London-Victoria Mining Licence (ML1215) was not held by the mine operator (BHP Gold and subsequently Hargraves Resources NL). As a result, the drilling data collected under the Joint Venture did not make it into the drillhole database Adavale inherited.

Drillhole compilation totalled 188 holes for 11,529m — a combination of shallow aircore and reverse circulation drilling with an average depth of 61m.

The Victoria South template

The systematic approach was proven at Victoria South, where compilation of KGC-series drilling identified material near-mine opportunity. Results included 1m @ 245.5g/t Au in KGC12, plus 17m @ 1.53g/t, 13m @ 2.25g/t and 15m @ 1.68g/t. This repeatable method has now been applied belt-wide, turning old, overlooked data into a low-cost pipeline of drill-ready targets. The approach allows Adavale to de-risk target generation and prioritise follow-up drilling efficiently.

Prospect highlights — the near-mine pipeline

  1. Drapers1.7km south of the open pit; DR02 (11m @ 4.94g/t) open at depth; geological logging suggests a primary source. Drapers was not on the original BHP Gold mining licence.
  2. Nibblers Hill — on EL8555, recently acquired 100% from Orange Minerals Limited. Historic workings from approximately 1880; recorded production of approximately 781oz at 31g/t Au. Similar orientation to London-Victoria (NNE strike, steep east dip).
  3. Waterhouse1km SSW along strike of Nibblers Hill; on EL9178, acquired 100% in an all-scrip deal from Alkane Resources Limited (ASX:ALK).
  4. Somers (historically “Pinnigers”) — large 2.4km coherent gold soil anomaly parallel to London-Victoria; 71 historic holes compiled.
  5. Armstrongs — on EL9741, recently acquired 100% in an all-scrip deal as part of Adavale’s Belt Scale Consolidation; most extensively drilled satellite target, 1.7km NW of London-Victoria.

Where Adavale sits in a Tier-1 gold jurisdiction

The Parkes Project spans approximately 610 km² across 70km of contiguous belt-scale strike in the Macquarie Arc of NSW’s Lachlan Fold Belt — a Tier-1 mining jurisdiction. Neighbouring world-class operations include Cadia Ridgeway (35.1Moz Au & 7.9Mt Cu) and Northparkes (5.2Moz Au & 4.4Mt Cu). London-Victoria historically produced 145,000oz @ 1.5g/t Au between 1988 and 1996, closing due to low gold prices rather than geological constraints.

This positions Adavale’s ground within a proven, elephant-country address with demonstrated endowment at scale.

What comes next — the road to the September MRE

  • Brownfields drilling: Systematic “drill out” underway to expand and upgrade existing mineralisation with 2 rigs active onsite; assay results reported once received and validated.
  • Metallurgical test work: Comprehensive testing on core samples to assess recoveries and support future development studies.
  • Preliminary scoping studies: Early-stage technical and economic assessments to evaluate development pathways and inform project prioritisation.
  • Geophysical surveys: High-resolution airborne geophysics to refine structural interpretation, improve targeting accuracy and prioritise follow-up drilling.
  • Updated MRE: Expected by mid-3Q CY26 (September quarter) — the key near-term catalyst.

A growing resource base, a de-risked pipeline of satellite targets, active drilling, and a near-term MRE catalyst all point to building scale and development momentum in the second half of the year.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the London-Victoria Gold Mine and who owns it?

London-Victoria is a historic gold mine in the Lachlan Fold Belt of New South Wales that produced 145,000oz at 1.5g/t Au between 1988 and 1996, closing due to low gold prices rather than geological exhaustion. It is now the centrepiece of Adavale Resources' Parkes Thrust Project.

What is Adavale Resources' current Mineral Resource at the Parkes Project?

Adavale's current Mineral Resource stands at 166,000oz Au across the broader Parkes Thrust Project, based entirely on historic data — none of the 88 holes drilled by Adavale to date have yet been incorporated into the estimate.

When is Adavale's updated Mineral Resource Estimate expected?

Adavale has scheduled an updated Mineral Resource Estimate for the September quarter of CY2026 (mid-3Q CY26), which will incorporate the company's own drilling program for the first time.

What are the six new gold prospects Adavale has identified near London-Victoria?

The six prospects are Armstrongs, Drapers, Nibblers Hill, Somers, McGuiggans and Waterhouse — all located along strike or immediately adjacent to London-Victoria, identified through systematic compilation of 188 historic drillholes that were previously absent from Adavale's database.

How did Adavale identify these new prospects without drilling new holes?

Adavale compiled 188 historic drillholes totalling 11,529m that were drilled by a 1990s joint venture between Michelago Resources and Sipa Exploration but never incorporated into the database Adavale inherited, effectively unlocking overlooked exploration data at minimal cost.
