CZR Resources Extends Top Camp Gold Strike Past 700m With 19.9g/t Hit at 21m
CZR Resources extends Top Camp gold strike past 700m with high-grade Pilbara hits
CZR Resources has delivered a second batch of RC assay results from the Top Camp prospect at its Croydon Gold Project in WA’s Pilbara, extending strike and depth and returning the highest single-metre gold intercept of the 2026 program. The latest results include 1m @ 19.9 g/t Au from 21m in hole 26TCRC011, alongside deeper intersections confirming mineralisation now extends to 220m below surface and more than 700m along strike, open in all directions. The Croydon Project sits ~50km southwest of Northern Star’s 13.2 Moz Hemi gold deposit, providing regional context for an emerging system in a proven gold address.
Key intercepts from the latest 14 holes include:
- 1m @ 19.9 g/t Au from 21m (26TCRC011) – highest single-metre gold grade recorded from the 2026 Top Camp program
- 18m @ 1.10 g/t Au from 294m, within 26m @ 0.86 g/t Au from 294m (26TCRC014) – deepest significant intersection to date
- 9m @ 1.18 g/t Au from 297m, within 21m @ 0.84 g/t Au from 285m (26TCRC019) – confirms depth extension
- 16m @ 0.78 g/t Au from 124m, including 9m @ 1.04 g/t Au from 129m (26TCRC013) – mid-level zone continuity

What the latest drilling reveals
The announcement reports assay results from fourteen additional RC holes (26TCRC006–26TCRC019), bringing the total number of holes reported from the 32-hole program to nineteen. Combined with five holes announced on 8 July 2026, these results continue to define the geometry and extent of the Top Camp gold system. The remaining thirteen holes are expected to return results in the coming weeks, with a steady flow of assay catalysts supporting the evolving geological interpretation.
Holes 26TCRC014 and 26TCRC019 tested the interpreted down-plunge extension of high-grade mineralisation and delivered the deepest intersections to date. These zones remain open and appear to widen with depth, supporting the interpretation that gold mineralisation follows a north-plunging fold-hinge intersection lineation and NE-trending shear zones. The southern-most hole, 26TCRC011, extended the strike length past 700m, with the 19.9 g/t Au intercept at 21m depth interpreted as structurally-controlled vein mineralisation warranting follow-up drilling.

“Results continue to define the potential of the Top Camp prospect, furthering our understanding of its extent. The 4 diamond holes recently completed (results pending) will assist the geological interpretation and understanding of controls on gold geometry and distribution. We are looking forward to the aircore program testing the regional potential of the broader Croydon Project. Further results will continue to be released as they are received from the labs.”
Why gold near Hemi matters for investors
Reverse circulation (RC) drilling is an industry-standard method where compressed air lifts rock chips up the drill string to the surface, enabling rapid, cost-effective sampling over significant depths. When results show “strike length” extending and “depth open in all directions,” it signals a potentially growing system—though it is early-stage exploration with no mineral resource estimate established yet.
Croydon’s location ~50km southwest of Northern Star’s 13.2 Moz Hemi gold deposit places it within the same prospective Mallina Basin geological setting. Northern Star acquired Hemi through the $5 billion merger with De Grey Mining (NST ASX Announcements: 2 December 2024 and 3 June 2026), underscoring the strategic value of this address. The Croydon Project covers approximately 40km of prospective strike within the Mallina Basin, and an ongoing aircore program is now testing for Hemi-style targets under areas of cover—a broader exploration angle that extends the upside beyond Top Camp alone.
Metallurgical samples from Top Camp have been dispatched for initial testwork, an early-stage indicator of process pathways should mineralisation continue to expand.

What’s next for CZR across its project pipeline
CZR has outlined a clear near-term catalyst path across its Western Australian portfolio:
- Remaining Top Camp RC results: Assays for thirteen additional holes from the 32-hole program are expected in the coming weeks.
- Diamond drilling interpretation: Four diamond holes recently completed at Top Camp—results pending—will provide down-hole structural data to enhance geological understanding of gold geometry and controls on distribution.
- Aircore program underway: An aircore rig is onsite at Croydon testing broader prospectivity under areas of cover and gold-in-soil anomalism at Frank’s Patch, targeting Hemi-style discoveries.
- RC rig redeployment: The RC rig has completed drilling at Bottom Camp and Murph prospects; after a short break, it will drill the Martin Cu-Zn-Au prospect.
- Heritage survey in August: A survey is scheduled to clear pads at Martin for diamond drilling below historical workings, advancing a base-metal and gold target with existing infrastructure.
Beyond Croydon
The 1,741m Yarrie aircore program (May–June 2026) returned no significant gold, iron, or base-metal anomalies. Further geological interpretation of geochemical results is being undertaken to guide future targeting—a targeting result rather than a setback in the exploration workflow.
LiDAR surveying is underway at the Yarraloola Project to target Peter’s Creek and Darnells Channel Iron Deposit (CID) potential, with ongoing evaluation of Yarraloola, Buddadoo, and Yarrie. Work plans for these projects are expected to be developed for 2H 2026, keeping the project pipeline active across multiple commodities and geological settings.
CZR is building an emerging gold story in a proven Pilbara address, with a steady stream of assay catalysts ahead as Top Camp’s geometry crystallises and regional aircore testing expands the exploration footprint.
